I’m sorry to hear that the Rembert nonprofit made the trip in vain. The original post did say that the items were available on a first-come, first-serve basis. In this case, all items were claimed on Friday. We updated the post on Thursday afternoon to say that all items had been claimed.

Unfortunately, SCANPO does not have the resources to manage every step of this kind of process. In this case, we functioned solely as the conduit of information, not the manager. That being said, I understand how frustrating an unnecessary trip can be, and offer sincere apologies for the inconvenience.

I passed this information along to a non-profit in Rembert, SC. I got an email saying that someone from the Rembert non-profit drove to W. Columbia on Saturday, but no one was there at All Commercial Roofing.
