“Why Thanks Matters in Our Shared Environment: A Funder’s Perspective”
During this Lunch and Learn, we will hear from Susan DuPlessis, SC Arts Commission Participation Program Director & Arts Coordinator serving The Lowcountry region. Susan will discuss making meaningful connections with your funder.
The discussion will address:
- Working on purpose: maximizing the intersection between the funder’s purpose and yours
- Your story + my story = our story
- Giving thanks — why it matters
We will also hear from Madeleine McGee, President of SCANPO (S.C. Association of Nonprofit Organizations). Madeleine will give a preview of the recently released third edition of Guiding Principles & Best Practices (GP&BP); share the latest on the 2013 SCANPO Summit; and talk about the benefits of SCANPO membership.
