Today, 1 in 4 women and 1 in 6 men are survivors of child sexual abuse or sexual assault. Unless we act to prevent it, 1 in 10 children will experience sexual abuse in their lifetime.

Sexual violence effects every race, socioeconomic class, gender, and faith community.

Together we can protect children and walk alongside in support of those who are healing from the hidden wounds of sexual violence. Join Sexual Trauma Services as we strive to make the Midlands a sanctuary from sexual violence. This FREE training includes:

  • Stewards of Children, an evidence-based child sexual abuse prevention curriculum developed by Darkness to Light
  • Healing the Hidden Wounds, a training on responding to disclosures of sexual assault and abuse in pastoral counseling and ways to support survivors in their healing journey
  • Reflection and Discussion with fellow leaders of faith communities across the Midlands

Register for the training online at stsm.org/rlfaith
