SCANPO’s nonprofit members come from
all over South Carolina and have a wide array of missions.
Although every member is unique, one goal is consistent
throughout – to meet the needs of our communities in an
effective and efficient manner. SCANPO is here to help its
members make a bigger difference in the lives of the people they
serve and to encourage nonprofits to continue to aim high.
Nonprofits meet new challenges every
day. Increasing demands from board, staff, and communities
require nonprofits to have the most up-to-date information,
training, resources, cost-saving programs and assistance. SCANPO
offers all of these to its members and also serves as an
effective advocate for the state’s nonprofit community as a
