IRS Launches New Website for
501(c)(3)s
The Internal Revenue Service has launched a new, interactive
web-based tool to assist 501(c)(3) organizations in
complying with tax law. The new
Stay
Exempt website provides tools and training on
topics that include how to classify an organization as a
public charity, determine unrelated business income, and
file the Form 990. The website also provides information on
organization employment issues, disclosure requirements, and
activities that will jeopardize an organization’s tax
status. Source: BNA Daily Tax Report and Tax Analysts
